Unimpressed with their cold, characterless and frankly boring knives, husband and wife team Nick (a relentless tinkerer) and Sarah (a craft nerd), decided to make their own knife.
It needed to cut, slice and chop really well, but also have a story, a history, and feel like more than an object when held and used.
One knife led to another and through constant testing, learning and research, each one they created was a little better than the one before it.
Family and friends started to place orders, then friends of friends, then neighbours of friends mother's uncle's postman and the rest is history.
100's of knives later, and still in pursuit of the perfect knife, Nick and Sarah (New Forest Knives) build bespoke knives (and the occasional axe or spoon) from their small workshop at the edge of the New Forest.
